"аз се опитвам да напълня с някакъв смисъл думата "преводачка", отнесена към мен, но съм точно хаотичният и вечно ентусиазиран по нещо ново неопределен човек, който виждаш от музиката"

Окей, да видим откъде да почна, че не е лесно. Моята “късметлийска” песен е Take On Me на А-ха: това беше един от първите видеоклипове, които гледах в живота си и край, остана завинаги като нещо красиво и важно в главата ми (все едно какво е всъщност). Сега всяко случайно чуване на тази песен ми действа като намиране на четирилистна детелина – без да искам си мисля, че следва нещо хубаво. На 16-17 години бях влюбена в чудатостта на Дейвид Боуи, а тези влюбвания никога не напускат човека. Депеш мод бяха първите, които дълбоко ме впечатлиха, и единствените, които и досега ме впечатляват горе-долу по същия начин. На времето брат ми ми записваше едни симпатични “сборни касетки”, една от които беше на Бийсти бойс – PaulRevere и досега ме радва по тийнейджърски. И тук трябва да кажа, че о-бо-жа-вам хубавия бийт и нещото, което винаги мога да слушам, е добър рап, мога и да гледам хип-хоп до отмала: дайте ми малко Лилу и съм на седмото небе. С име като моето не е лесно да намериш песен адаш, но аз не само си намерих, но и много я харесвам: Нева на прекрасните 5nizza. Умирам за опера (донякъде защото съм италианистка и съм “отрасла” с учебник за музикално училище, пълен с откъси от либрета, донякъде защото съм природно мелодраматична) и ако трябва да посоча само един композитор, ще е Вагнер. Обаче ето това изпълнение на Род Гилфри в любимата ми Цюрихска опера е като учебник по съблазън, гениално, така че с удоволствие “цитирам” Моцарт (тук тъкмо щях да напиша, че давам мило и драго да гледам Гилфри някъде, но той напоследък пее преобладаващо из Щатите, когато погледнах и видях, че се връща в Цюрих през март... и си купих билет, и подскачам на куц крак от щастие в момента). Напоследък много обичам качествени телевизионни сериали – началото на най-любимия ми, шведско-датския Bron/Broen, е тази песен, която ме хипнотизира. От тангото малко се поуморих след дълъг период на голяма слабост към него, сега ми дайте фадо! Ако трябва да спомена две особено любими парчета, те ще са атипични и за двата жанра: тангото много ми харесва изтанцувано от Близнаците, а фадото – да е Обратното на фадо. Когато съм в сантиментално настроение и искам да се довърша (да седна и да плача, плача) – тези двете действат отлично: Бистрата чешма и Продавачката на теменужки (оригиналът е испански, но Чаплиновата версия ме вълнува повече). В частта със сантименталното има две джази неща, които ме покосяват моментално: Трън или пепел в изпълнението на перуанката Чабука Гранда и Алфонсина и морето в ето тази интерпретация на Авишай Коен (сред всички концерти, които съм гледала, един негов в Брюксел продължава да ми е събитие номер едно). Освен музиката, която ме убива, имат изумителни текстове (Трън или пепел: “Какво ли ще бъде тялото ми до твоето: трън или пепел?... Какво ли ще е стенанието и какъв – викът, докато животът ми се впуска в твоя, и каква летаргията, в която ще изпадна, когато сънят ми заспи в съня ти?...”). Мислех да продължа със Сигур Рос, Бейрут, Лике Ли, Девочка, Ентъни енд дъ Джонсънс и пр., само че те са ми приятни, без да са ми безумно скъпи, та мога да ги отчета набързо. За завършек (и заради красивата история, вгледайте се, поразровете се) ще спомена една песен, която ми показа моята приятелка Сибилла: Таро на Alt-J.

Benedict Cumberbatch has appeared on the previous three Late Night Tales LPs, reading the first three parts of Simon Cleary's story on the albums curated by Friendly Fires, Röyksopp and Bonobo.
Django Django have compiled the latest instalment of the long-running compilation series, to be released on May 12.

The story relates the aftermath of a house-party in alternating voices.

 "Anyway, like I say, it was great – I was waiting in the corridor, to go to the toilet, standing right in front of the door. It opened, and this girl was standing there. I was a little shocked, hadn’t expected it, and jumped a little. She did the same thing a second later, smiling. I smiled. I tilted my head left, about to speak, and look sympathetic, and she tilted her head right. I raised my right hand, she raised her left. I put it back by my side, straightened my head, and she did the same. “I’ll be your mirror.” she said. Nothing else existed for a second there, I felt calm, and wanted no more. Then some chump who had slunk up the corridor goes “Awww, that is so cute!” I barged past her and slammed the door, shot the lock across, the handle fell off."
